After completing a solid and reliable distributor network in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and France, dewulf~miedema has now completed their dealer restructuring in England, Scotland and Ireland. Niagri Engineering (England), Netherton Tractors (Scotland) and Leinster Farm Machinery (Ireland) are now your partners in the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables.
Niagri Engineering is appointed as the new full service dealer of the dewulf~miedema range for England. Niagri, already importers of the Dewulf harvesting range, will take over from Miedema Mercer who currently hold the dealership and service in England and Wales. Niagri is a family run business based in Norfolk and started manufacturing machinery for the vegetable industry in 1997. The company has expanded considerably since then, with the Dewulf dealership being granted in 2000 and the acquisition of Everett Brothers Engineering in 2012. With the recent appointment of a new Service Manager, Niagri are recruiting for further service technicians to support the expansion and will hold a stock of common Miedema parts to be able to support new and existing customers. These changes will enable Niagri to offer sales and service to the complete range of the dewulf~miedema equipment. Alan Nicholson, Managing Director comments: "The dealership was a natural progression for us, with many products suitable for many of our existing customers. This is another exciting venture and we're looking forward to promoting the Miedema brand throughout England and Wales alongside our current Dewulf and Niagri product range." Niagri and Dewulf will be giving harvest demonstrations in October with a new RA3060 in Yorkshire and Norfolk.
For Scotland, the choice was made for Netherton Tractors Ltd. The company started in 1987 under the leadership of Harry Barclay Sr., father of the current Managing Director Harry J. Barclay. Based at the original Aberlemno site, it quickly became one of Scotland's leading agricultural agencies for equipment sales and services (John Deere & Kverneland), operating in Angus and Kincardine. In 2008 Netherton Tractors expanded its operations to cover Fife, Clackmannanshire, and Stirlingshire. Netherton Tractors already had experience in the potato business and are now appointed by Dewulf and Miedema for the whole Scottish territory.
Finally Leinster Farm Machinery was appointed as dealer for Ireland. It's a privately owned company involved in the sale of agricultural machinery and equipment, spare parts and services. The business was established back in 1979 and is located in the heart of the potato growing region of Ireland, Duleek, Co Meath. This new facility includes a large retail store and a state of the art service workshop. With over 30 years' experience within the Agricultural Machinery Industry, they have built a strong knowledge and reputation for Service Excellence. Leinster Farm Machinery is dedicated in providing exceptional after-sales service and their highly trained service technicians are equally dedicated and focused on customer requirements, especially during the busy harvesting season. Philip O'Hara, Managing Director comments: ‘We are happy to promote the dewulf~miedema products. It will give the Irish growers more options to choose from, covered by the excellent service of our team.'
LFM and Dewulf will be giving harvest demonstrations in September and October with a new RF3060 in Meath, Louth and Dublin.
